After a LOT of hard work behind the scenes for the past several months, I'm so excited to finally announce that I have a new book out, Christian Q&A Book for Kids.
My favorite part of writing Christian Q&A Book for Kids was asking my grandchildren what questions they had about God and the Bible. Jacob, age 8, asked a tough one. “How did Jesus come back to life?” I loved doing the research and reading the Bible to find the answer to Jacob’s question and over 100 others! I hope this book is a starting off place to foster discussion as well as deepen your child’s knowledge and faith.
One of the most challenging aspects of writing the Christian Q&A Book for Kids was answering the questions on a child's level. The book answers tough questions, but the target age group is 6-9 year olds. Although I've authored over 100 books for children, writing this was different. I tried to stay away from jargon words and imagined I was talking to my three grandchildren who (fortunately!) are in the target age group.
I felt a big responsibility to get the answers right when writing Christian Q&A Book for Kids, especially for the children who would be reading it. My background and experience helped. I've been attending Bible study through the First United Methodist Church in Maryville, Missouri for over 30 years. I spent many hours researching my answers. I focused on God's love, grace, and compassion. It's been such a blessing to receive positive feedback and endorsements from people in ministry.

My kids constantly ask questions; God and the Bible are two subjects they always have lots of questions about. This book is an excellent resource for all of those questions! The answers are complete, yet they provide an opening for further discussion. Bible verses are included in the answers, and the index is helpful for directing to each topic.
