In my upcoming picture book, God's Protection Covers Me, from Beaming Books, the main character, a little boy, walks home in the rain. The boy and his dog sit side-by-side watching the rain out the window. The boy sips a cup of hot cocoa. The illustrations are charming! See the recipe, below (and easy variations) and will be included in an activity packet, which will be available as a free download when the book comes out May 21, 2019. On these snowy, February days, hot cocoa is always welcome. More updates on my new picture book soon!
